Outdueled Chen in game 3 of the ALCS to put a strangehold on the ALCS, and outdueled Tim Hudson to win game 3 of the World Series and put the Royals up 2-1. That's pretty tough, considering game 3 is usually the pivotal game.

He stunk this year but he should really be remembered positively. He was a huge part of turning this organization around. I know you're a robot about this stuff but come on now.

With respect to Kisla's column (which I'm gonna guess nobody actually saw), it's fine to criticize Guthrie. That's what columnists do - honest appraisals. I highly doubt he had some axe to grind vs Guts, just like I don't.

Guts made 27M here and was worth 4.9M. That's not a good contribution. We could've applied that $ elsewhere and been no worse.

Saying Guthrie was a quitter was a jab

If we had a better player, we probably would have went to 2 world series and won one.

Yeah, I wish a lot of things were different. I wish Cueto didn't get some bug up his butt about playing on the road. I wish the Royals could pay the bills I'm gonna owe my cardiologist in a few decades. I wish Gordon didn't get injured. I wish we could have won it without trading away those prospects.

Oh... wait... we won the World ****ing Series. I actually regret NOTHING. Whoops, my bad.

Except Dusty Coleman. I regret him. **** that asshole.

LMAO
Agreed with with aspect of this post. He looked like he had never played baseball before. Almost costed us in his debut against the Twins with the inability to accomplish the ever-so-hard task of running 90 feet and then he struck out with the tying-run on 3rd to lose the game and the season series against the Cards (middle finger for all of you STL assholes). **** you Dusty.

But great season, yes.

EDIT: upon further review Dusty was the first out with runners on 2nd and 3rd and no outs by way of strikeout. My bad.

**** you, Dusty.

He threw a huge 6 innings in a 1-0 shutout over Sonny Gray and OAK in OAK in August 2014. The game won by a Raul Ibanez HR in the top of the 5th.

Oakland looked unstoppable at the time and that series seemed to turn around our season (and theirs, coincidentally).

JGuts was a great team guy and was huge in the 2014 post season. Also, very class response by him.

Did Guthrie **** his wife?
3 years & he still is writing about Guthrie? Strange.

You obviously don't know shit about the team.

While PB's wife was tonguing his asshole.

Guthrie sucked balls on the mound last year, but was really solid in 2014. It's not his fault the Royals paid him what they did, and it was never lack of effort.

Sure-Oz 01-01-2016 05:37 AM

Thanks Buster....

@Buster_ESPN: Sources: The Royals still pursuing possible additions for their rotation for 2016.
