I really like how this is turning more and more into the Bashaud Breeland thread by the day. We've had our real football talk, and now there's just a bit of doubt creeping in that this will get done.

By next week we'll be full-on post-spamming like this thread was designed to do!

Bump for Mecca.

Several of those guys aren't even on the teams that picked them...Breshad Perriman isn't even on a ****ing team!

I was actually getting excited about a late first round fatty, but Earl Thomas is a nice consolation prize!

And then Earl Thomas signs with the Packers...

In Veach I trust. GET 'ER DONE VEACH.

That list just pretty much shows you that having a late 1st round pick isn't all that valuable.

All your posts are absolutes as if you know and have inside info. You surely must be in some NFL teams front office because you just know.

One of 3 teams still without a loss. Already played 2 of the most explosive offenses. Berry will be back and healthy in their mind soon. If we were 1-2 then yeah, get him in here at all costs. We don't need him right now, so let the situation deteriorate in Seattle some more.

Salary stuff is pretty common knowledge seeing as we watch a ton of teams do it every year oh and you can find out the cap money because the information is readily available.

You know using the the ole brain and you can know these things too.

On a more serious note, the Seahawks do have a problem on their hands the more he festers and does this practice stunt with the team.

Unless they've decided to just tank the year, that is...

They aren't trading him inside the NFC, at least not to a perennial contender.

What team are you employed as their capologist?

Why does one need to be a capologist to know a team's general cap situation?
When I'm sick, I don't need to be a Dr. to know I'm sick.
When I do my taxes, I don't need to be a CPA.
When etc...

Generalizations do apply. Present CAP amount and availability are recorded and many CAP strategies are common knowledge. This is what is being referenced. One does not need to be a capologist to have a conversation about it.

Okay, waiting them out is a different discussion. If you don't want to give them a 1 because you think they'll eventually take less, fine.

But what if we get to the trading deadline and it's still a 1, do you pass?

Because what you said in the first two sentences is exactly why we SHOULD do it.

A guy like Thomas keeps us rolling towards a championship, THIS YEAR.
