Completely false. Ever heard of Gary Wichard? If not, Google it for proof.
Mel Kiper is self-employed. He only offers his opinion on ESPN. He's not an agent, he's not governed by the NFL - nothing.
If he wants to hype a player because he's close with the agent, there's nothing stopping him, at all.
