I think Denver would do that deal, especially since they covet Cassel.

How awesome would that be for you guys.

Basically trading a 2nd round pick for Vrabel, Sanchez, #18 Pick, and a 2nd Next Year

Look I think it's a great idea and would make me happy but I don't see it happening, Cassel is a Pioli guy who he's comfortable with.

Clayton is saying now that it's the two #1's, Orton, and a #3 for Cutler and a #5.

Hmmm.

Hmmm.

Thought so.

First rule of sportsfan sanity - if you heard it on ESPN, you heard it wrong.

I'm confused, Clayton is saying on ESPN the clincher was the 3rd rounder Denver got. I thought the 3rd rounder was a conditional pick for Chicago? Who gets the 3rd rounder?

Who is Jake going to throw to?

I bet the Bears are on the phone calling about Chad Johnson, or ringing Marvin Harrison and Torry Holt

I understand what you are saying, but I'm just saying that that scenario would probably be the best outcome for the Chiefs. Thats only if Denver would give up the #18 and another pick for him though.

Then you guys could draft a Defensive guy too.

In other news, John Clayton is still the ugliest human being in existence.

Mecca 04-02-2009 04:03 PM

I still think Chicago makes out better, there is no value on the QB position and Cutler hasn't remotely scratched his upside.

Hmmm.

The Sun-Times said that from the beginning.

The Bears acquired quarterback Jay Cutler today for No. 1 draft picks in 2009 and 2010, a No. 3 pick this year and Kyle Orton, the Sun-Times has learned.
The Bears receive the Broncos' fifth-round draft pick this year.

Cutler, 25, is coming off a Pro Bowl season with the Broncos, but he became disgruntled and wanted a trade after learning Denver was considering a deal for quarterback Matt Cassel.

Hey it'd make my damn day, but I don't see it happening.

He's had four years to begin scratching. Perhaps he needs an extra long luffa?

Exactly.

People forget he's only been in the league for 3 years, and a full time starter for 2.

You're a moron. What part of DRUNK DIABETIC don't you understand? With a shitty personal attitude on top of it. What the **** difference does it make how good his arm is when it takes him three times longer to heal than everybody else? And who the hell is he going to throw to? Double cover Hester and the Bears are done.

Seriously, why do you think McDaniels made it his first order of business to jettison this guy?

We're reconvene after this season and see who was right about this. I hope it's you. But I just don't see it.

But this has nothing to do with my hatred of Denver.

He looks like Tweety Bird as an old man.
