The first year I followed the Chiefs, we won two playoff games with Joe Montana. I was in sixth grade. Now, I'm responding to inquiries for a 10th high school reunion, with no playoff wins since.

That is ****ing pathetic.

Both players, so far, are who I thought they were back in the spring. Which is unfortunate.

If your pass protection can't protect you long enough to drop back and throw to your first option, what can a QB possibly do?

It had nothing to do with the gameplan. And it most certainly wasn't adjusted for Cassel. It was adjusted because no QB on earth could have possibly made anything happen against that poor of protection.

I'm not blaming anyone.

But your post said he managed the pocket well, and I'm saying that was nonsense. The game was completely taken out of his hands. Not the gameplan you'd expect for a "franchise" QB, even with this travesty that Pioli has put in front of him.

...irrelevant to your incorrect assertion.

That's pretty much how I remember it too...although I remember Deberg and Krieg, I'm not old enough to have been a fan since 83 I was 3 in that year.

He damn sure wasn't going to be a pro QB coming from tOSU. Compulsive gambler, perhaps...

LMAO Not trying to stir shit, I grew up in MO. It just seems to me a blue chipper like this kid could have gone to any school of his school of his choosing, and he picks Missouri. Hometown boy makes good, I guess...
