I don't understand that "unmatched taste" thing. I mean, is that possible? If someone enjoys Chopin, do they have better taste than someone who likes Hank Williams? Is beef bourguignon better than brisket? Is it wrong to prefer an ice cold Corona to an IPA on a hot summer day, or a fat girl over a skinny girl on a cold winter night?

1.) Good taste would be enjoying both.

2.) Brisket is better.

3.) It is very wrong to prefer a Corona over an IPA. Very wrong.

4.) Eh, what the **** ever.

1) I agree, but Hank is easier to listen to.

2) Not if you're in the mood for beef bourguiognon. Sounds fancy, but it's comfort food.

3) My oldest son is an IPA dude. He always wants me to try them, and I love my son so I do, but I really can't drink more than one without feeling like I swallowed a bowling ball. They're not a middle aged dude drink, or at least not this middle aged dude. And they're not in the least bit refreshing. Shouldn't a beer be refreshing? Wait, don't answer that, I already know.....

4) My wife will be pissed if she catches me in bed with a fat chick. She is unreasonable in that regard.

Heh. Ironic. My post above was intended to be DanT rather than KC Dan - even though KC Dan is a smart enough guy I think DanT and cdcox are a couple of the brightest guys out here.

I would agree on both counts. And IIRC, KC Dan is too.

There are lot of bright folks here, but smart is smart in different ways.

DanT is a wicked smart dude, of that I am fairly certain. But he doesn't brag on it.

cdcox is super smart and I guy i admire. Fugger is a professor who understands barbecue and football. Color me jealous.

Then there's guys who understand how shit works, how to build stuff, how to repair cars.....That's a whole other kind of smart.

Like I said, lots of smart mo-fos around here.
