Damn good game and $50 in my pocket for the game total being under 49 made it a whole lot better.

Same shit people said on this board during the offseason.

"Pollard led the team in tackles! We gave up a million yards rushing but he played great!"

FAIL

Actually he had a good game ,fumble recovery, tackle for loss on VY, lots of good open field tackles.

gruden slobered all over Pollard tonight and stated how this defense really came together once they acquired Pollard.

He said he'd never understand a 3-7 team letting this type of player go but maybe thats why they're 3-7. ROFL

Babb on Pollard:

kb_kcstar: @ufc4: To get today's Pollard, yes. But I think the Chiefs believe that if they'd kept him, he would've been nothing but a distraction.

kb_kcstar: Sometimes players just don't fit in a team's culture, for better or worse. Honestly, I don't think either side regrets how it happened.

kb_kcstar: @Fantasytaz: When he was in KC, Pollard was a diva who was a liability more often than not. It's easy to forget that watching him now.

kb_kcstar: @QueenJerrica: Pollard isn't a bad guy, but he's high-maintenance. Chiefs didn't like that. Plus, he never played this well before.

kb_kcstar: But both sides screwed it up. Pollard was a loud-mouthed rebel who probably needed this fire lit under him. KC misjudged his talent.

kb_kcstar: What I believe happened with Pollard is that KC didn't think they could control him. He's moody, loud and had an inconsistent demeanor.
