I have heard others say this stuff too. I think it is BS for a couple reasons.
1) Im sure many of them dont go to games anymore either, that surely cant be blamed on the "meanies" on the planet.
2) When things are going so bad for the team, who wants to talk about it a few times per day? ONLY US DIEHARD FANS, and for what its worth losing has surely worn on all of us and at times its hard not to blow up at people for not being objective. Sometimes the truth hurts and alot of the guys you dislike are right more than they are wrong.
3) FACT: ChiefsPlanet had more posts in 2009 than in any previous year of its existance...not just more but 25% more!!!! Some have left and some have been gained.

I have a legitimate question for you man, if "certain posters" bother you so much, just put them on ignore. Simple as that.
You know as well as I do that the Coalition is more like the "tailgate" experience of BB where as the Planet is more of the "smack talking, on the field" atmosphere.
I enjoy both types of conversation. I enjoy the conversation here more-so than there because of the let it fly style of the board and if it softened up it would be no different than the Coalition, so whats the point? I LOVE the diversity here and would be VERY disapointed if this place lost some of its more violently tempered posters such as the ones you seem to enjoy tangling with (or else you wouldnt stop by threads they are in and poke them with sticks from time to time)
If I can make a suggestion to you, just put a couple of them on ignore and dont engage in personal attacks any longer.

Believe me, if you ignore it and there is no satisfaction for them to throw stones, they will lose interest and move on. You have a bunch of rep, go back to posting quality material that earned those points rather than lowereing yourself to the level of those throwing stones. The way you are attempting to go about this will not end well.
