Berry has been a huge addition to that aspect of the defense.

Anyone who actually has a clue would know that.

Liability.

LMAO

Berry has done an outstanding job with the run defense. He's had some lapses in the passing game. The next two weeks will be a good test for him. Questioning Berry is the same as questioning McCluster at this point. They have both exceeded expectations in some areas, and look like very good picks. However, since one player wasn't the "golden child" from the start, that player will continually get questioned while the other one gets a pass.

Absolutely. Without question.

Yup. I mean, everyone has to remember our S play before he arrived. Needless to say it has been light years better.

Who has given Berry a pass? He's played very well thus far. A few mistakes is to be expected.

No one is questioning McCluster's talent at this point.

The question is his long term durability.

And, as I said, for me, if he continues to have the impact that he's had in helping to build a winning culture, that question becomes a moot point.

Only time will tell as far as his durability goes. IIRC though, he has very little if any injury history, and how many guys his size are even remotely as strong as he is? His bench was staggering, but again, he IS small. I'm very interested in seeing how he holds up over the next 5 seasons.

Isn't there a question about Berry's long term durability?

Berry doesn't weigh 170lbs.

Cody is as athletic a guy as I've ever seen from a man that size.

You take a big boy to clog up the middle, you are never going to get a work ethic guy.

I disagree. I don't think Cody is overly athletic.

The concern is him maintaining. He had to work his tail off to get to 350.

I'm going to say that I think Cody will last in the NFL about 4 seasons. I know fatbodies typically last, but there's something about him that just screams bust to me.

Why would there be?
