You are exactly right on the money. If it was someones daughter getting banged by a male teacher the lynch mob mentality would prevail. The teacher needs to be punished the same as a male teacher would in the same situation.

Age of consent is an interesting topic of discussion. Here, though, we're talking female teacher/male student. I don't think many people are really focused on the ages.

What, in your opinion, is an acceptable punishment for a 30-year old teacher performing sexual acts on a 16-year old boy?

It should be the same as if it were a 30 year old male teacher with a 16 year old female student.

This is crazy though, because my first hour World Geography teacherat Truman HS also taught Psychology. She was in her twenties, but a little chubby. I still would've banged the **** out of it.

And I also think that it's crazy that a younger teacher having relations with an almost-legal student is such a problem, yet most Highschools have packed-full daycares for their kids.
