Normally all of the images are white with straightish squiggly lines... Never seen one black like that, let alone almost all of them.

Didn't they say this quake is like the 6th biggest in recorded history? Would that account for it or should we expect more quakes around the world?

The guy in Taiwan is saying the waves are smaller than expected, and they aren't really getting hit yet.

Hopefully the waves diffuse.

Yeah, that is not good. Definately some crazy stuff happening. This is a pretty good Seismic Monitor to use also. http://www.iris.edu/seismon/

Who knows. There isn't a lot of other activity right now... But Earth is going through some changes the last couple weeks.

Yep, plus Jupiter is on the opposite side of the sun lined up... With the "super moon"... I wouldn't be surprised if this was the first of a few big ones in the next week or so.

Interesting note, the 1989 San Francisco earthquake was a 7.1.

KC_Connection 03-11-2011 03:59 AM

Well, I have to go to sleep. Hopefully the world doesn't end while I'm gone.

They said this one was a 160 times more powerful than the one that hit New Zealand.
