No one is suggesting that RT is a more important position than QB.

But that doesn't mean we should make a habit of sitting a guy who is infinitely more talented than the guy we are trotting out there, and then to just release him so that we can promote an undrafted FA who was on our practice squad.

Also, we are playing a left handed QB right now. I don't think that any position on the field is as meaningless as you're suggesting. QB is far and away the most important position, but it isn't by any means the ONLY position that matters.

The line play including Barry Richardson has looked better since Cassel has been gone. And thats with Tyler ****ing Palko.

You can however win a championship with a shitty RT and below average line with an elite QB.

This is well understood. We shouldn't make a habit of drafting RTs in the first round. How about we play the best players who are on our team though?

1995 John Elway just stopped in for coffee. He says "Hello" as well.

Talent =/= production. Gaither ****ed up every time he was on the fields it seems. I don't remember anyone being happy with how he played the few opportunities he's gotten. He may be talented, but something is very wrong with him.

...and yes, I do have a time machine in the kitchen next to the coffee maker. Johnny Unitas is going to come over and talk about audibles with me later/earlier/now.

Jared Gaither wasn't one of them.

No, he thinks we need a quarterback much more than we need a RT and we should prioritize qb before RT.

I didn't see the game last night. Is Gaither playing left tackle for the Chargers or right?

Again, I think this is pretty well understood.

In fact, what was the last move we made before releasing Gaither?

We paid a QB $2.5 million in an attempt to upgrade the position. Of course, he wasn't an upgrade over Palko either according to our HC.

I swear you guys take press conference bullshit to heart. Orton going in in the second quarter is a pretty big statement that the Palko era was over.
