I think most of us thought they would be near .500, probably a few games under. If you thought this team was going to compete for a division title, that was probably dumb of you.

I don't think they are as bad as they are playing but everyone in underachieving at this point.

I always have wished it was the Yankees we beat in 1985 in the ALCS instead of the Blue Jays.

They're finding ways to lose...either we get bombed, run ourselves out of innings, passed balls, can't move runners, swing at bad pitches, look at good pitches...toss in the back-back hit batters for a loss and I think we have literally lost in just about every way you can

We beat the Yankees in '80 to go to the World Series so it happened anyway.

There are 150 games to go. Heck maybe we lose 120 of them, but we don't know yet. There have sure been enough times this team started 7-4 or 18-11 and looked great, and then drove right off the cliff into the ocean.
