Denver now needs to focus on ... adding needed talent to the Secondary.

It's great to have all these weapons, but they need to be able to stop the talented teams from throwing deep successfully when it matters most.

I don't either.

Let me see if I got this right. Mike Wallace is worth more than Wes Welker and Anquan Bolden combined.

Riiiiiiight?

Way to get another receiver when your secondary sucks ass.

Name a receiver with 3 super bowl rings with 5 seasons of 100 or more catches.

Does Welker even have one Super Bowl ring?

errr...Jerry Rice?

Sure as hell isn't Wes Welker, since he has zero SB rings.

Sucks to lose him though.

This. That money would have been better spent on Antoine Winfield.

Thanks, I thought Welker came serveral years after their SB championships.

Cover 2 and pray Manning shits the bed.

Or one hell of a pass rush...

WV 03-13-2013 03:42 PM

At least we won't have to worry about the Donkeys running the ball anymore.

Yeah, you're right he doesn't have the rings, I just did a double take on that and thought "that's not right".

I don't think Jerry had 5 seasons of 100 catches though, and Jerry isn't in the NFL currently.

Just exactly what the **** are you talking about?

Wes Welker is an overrated possession receiver. He's Davone Bess with an elite QB.

But hey, you're welcome to take him over Megatron, Green, Jones, Marshall....Bowe; whatever. The guy's decent, but he's not a world-beater.

The development of Demaryius Thomas will have a great impact on that offense than plugging in Wes Welker for Brandon Stokely.

Hootie 03-13-2013 03:42 PM

I lol why people give a shit

we already knew we weren't giong to beat Denver
