I guess I missed where you were crying about the Royals' bad luck??

I've been missing a lot of games lately.

Glad I missed THIS one.

It's so funny that you post this after last night where you mocked all those Cards fans for bitching about the weather.

Because a lot of those ****ing morons didn't know the rules. Our guys hit some hard balls right at people, congrats your ace beat probably our worst starting pitcher.

He is the pitcher you want on your staff to stop a losing streak. In only his 2nd year(last year was a lost year) he is looking like a #1 starter. And the great part of him falling to us in the draft, it was the extra pick for Pujols who left for $20 million because he had his feelings hurt.

You rough up Wacha? Well done.:thumb:

Now 7-0 1.78 ERA. Cy Yong candidate.

The Royals are the real deal. Best record in baseball now. You guys can flat hit that ball hard. That was an impressive performance.

Good series. Two blowouts surrounded by a rain game. We just might have saw a preview of the World Series. Would be a great series.

Wacha isn't the best pitcher in the national league

Happy to have a series win here. The Cardinals are a tough team.

Now can the Royals stop making a "thing" about the '85 World Series (I know this is the 30 year anniversary and all, but still...).

No not as long as there are Cards fans bitching and moaning and Whitey leading the charge.

This annoyed me too. By all means give that championship all the respect and honor its due, the fans like it as well. During the Cards series go right ahead and mention it a few times in commercials and in-game entertainment.

That patch on the sleeve today was a bridge too far.

Despite there being no George Brett, this team is a better team than the 1985. Live in the now. Especially when your current team kicks ass.

After 30 years you are going to allow the fans of other teams to dictate how you should feel?:shake:

I believe the Cards are doing a 1985 thing the weekend we go play there too. It's the 30th anniversary so it's not a huge deal, I think.

and thats fine, but when I saw "1985 World Series champions" on the sleeve of the Royals during the game, I just had to roll my eyes and go "oh, come on, really?"

The Cardinals could go all NASCAR on us and cover their uniforms with 11 World Series champion patches.

CaliforniaChief 05-24-2015 10:42 PM

A Cards/Royals series would be a blast. And I think it would be great, baseball-wise, too.

A good series this weekend. Filled the K, two really good teams, passionate fans, and got the win.

God have mercy on our souls if we don't!
