He wont be able to gamble/freelance against someone with the arm strength/accuracy of Mahomes. The ball gets there too quickly. It's why PM torched him repeatedly in practice.
He was an asset when Alex Smith was playing like crap against inferior QBs...won some games for KC. If we are being honest, he got beat here too but made up for it with timely INTs. If that aspect of his game isn't producing...he's a liability. |

He wants to be a Raider, so send him to the trash. I would LOVE to watch Mahomes send him in to shit fits 2 times a year. |

Look at every team beating this guy with double moves. Andy is going to run this play like 20X on Monday LMAO

However, the fact that he is blowing nutsack currently does not invalidate my point, you ****. He was good here, so the fact that he sucks now is irrelevant to the decision that was made. Accordingly, the decision by our guys most likely follows his effect on the locker room and Mahomes' development. But yeah, I'll stick to farming. |

According to Mellinger, there were concerns about Peters' day to day reliability and his responsiveness to coaching.
Those are legit concerns. It's not a coincidence that when we lost Eric Berry for 2016, Peters became increasingly erratic and difficult. I don't know, I think Peters will have a good game. I think he'll get roasted by Tyreek but he was basically built to stop a receiver like Sammy Watkins. If Mahomes challenges him all game, Peters should get his hands on a ball. |
Peters has one pick this year.
One. And only 4 PD. I'm not worried about him getting any hands on a ball. |

It’s a logical leap that there are other issues and they’re widely known. |

And I am sure that dude is not as fast as Tyreek Hill |
Someone with a personality like Peters will often have effort or concentration issues, but there should be no shortage of motivation for him this week, playing the team that decided they were better off without him.
Our guys know all too well his tendencies and his personality, I hope they try to get in his head like opponents so often were able to do. And I hope that they attack with these double moves and also use the threat of them to open up other areas of the passing game. As our defense can illustrate in living color, having one glaring weakness often opens up other areas for attack as you go to great lengths to manage it. Maybe the league has figured Marcus Peters out and he's not a coachable player, and that played a role in the team's willingness to trade him away? Who knows. |
Double moves take too long to develop with their DL vs the Chiefs OL to run very often. If the Chiefs can get KH going with the screen game and running straight at them then those routes can be there. Would really like to see KH get 100+on the ground to control the clock a little as well. The Rams don't need 35 minutes of possession since they are scoring right there with the Chiefs.
