Always in favor of NFC teams beating good AFC teams in the regular season. Helps KC in the playoff standings.

You're right, but you might as well have went back to it again over whatever that was.

I would have spread them out and do some kind of rollout

Who is Jack Collinsworth? Sounds like Chris.

Looks like Tony Romo. :D

If they keep running Can like that Stidham will be starting sooner than later.

Frazod 09-20-2020 09:38 PM

I'm glad Seattle won, or more to the point, I'm glad the Cheatriots lost, but goddamn Pete Carrol is a ****ing moron. 3rd and 1 in that situation and you call a deep pass? Jesus. It's like Wile E. Coyote calling plays out of the ACME playbook.

We should rename the Dumbass Lounge the Pete Carrol Lounge. I'm sure Milkman would approve.

Patriots played a lot better than I expected. A win would’ve been a nice surprise but honestly I’m just glad they didn’t shit their pants. Optimistic.

Sit and spin, Belichick and Newton!

I didn’t think they ran him much tonight. Week 1 they did but tonight they seemed to place an emphasis on not running him.

Either way if our offense is hitting on all cylinders in a couple of weeks, I think Cam will force some throws and our D will get some takeaways

Would've been a great time to have a tight end leak out there and have Cam have the option for the ol' jump pass after drawing the whole Seahawks defense to him.

They did.

Right there.

Belichick burned it to get the game closer. I mean sure, he could've tried it again and maybe he should have, but the Seahawks weren't going to be completely caught off guard by it.

(P.S. This is why Andy keeps shit in his pocket when the Chiefs are winning by 17 in the 2nd half. Don't show what you don't have to)

BB's been 'stealing' touchdowns off 4-wide sets with Brady finding a seam to sneak it into for years.

I have no idea why they didn't try that here. I wonder if the thought was that Seattle would've just sold out with a run-blitz regardless of whether or not you put 4 wide and in that event, Newton's hit as he gets the snap.

Hard to say why he went that route. I don't think there was even an option pitch available to him. Pretty much relied on his guys in the trenches to out-physical a pretty strong defensive front that also had numerical superiority.
