No that’s not it. The NFL is structured in a way that a whole bunch of teams have a legitimate shot at the super bowl. The college game is - and has been for quite awhile - structured so that it’s pretty much an SEC party every damn year. Boring.

I actually have a vested interest in Bama (a Co-PI is there, meaning I technically get a check from there), but that's not why I'm not joining the whining.

I appreciate excellence in football. Bama is clearly that.

Sheesh take a look. Our very own Chiefs sucked not long ago. The Bills are now relevant. Teams that get in the playoffs as wild cards end up in the super bowl. You see anything like that in college football?
