I work at a job that tests unvaccinated weekly.

Same at our healthcare facility. Twice a week testing for unvaccinated, nothing unless symptoms for vaccinated.

I asked for scientific studies.

Not a video from Joe Rogan’s show. One of these is unlike the other and biased.

The post I made was refuting claims that antiviral drugs prevent more severe cases of COVID than the vaccine. That’s not even remotely proven in ANY study.

I’m well aware that all individuals are spreading COVID, which is why the NFL needs different testing policies if they’d like their league to continue this season. Or find a way to work in an extra bye week for teams to end this season.

Read the OP, specifically the quoted part from Bearcat. Then go find it somewhere else.

Regardless of where you fall on Covid I think most would agree that holding out asymptomatic vaccinated players for weeks at a time is nuts. That seems way against the spirit. I know they talk about back to back negative tests but there doesn’t seem to be any discernible difference if vaccinated players like Chris jones are held out for a week. Especially now with a variant that will undoubtedly lead to tons of cases.

I’ll provide some hope.

Recently had two vaccinated coworkers test positive after needing testing for close contact.

Both tested negative after 3 and 4 days.

Omicron is the only real vaccine. It will provide immunity with symptoms like the common cold or less. Hopefully, they all get it so we're good to go come playoff time.

Sunday: Chiefs down to 11 healthy players on defense. Spags chooses to send nine out rather than start Armani Watts and Dorian O'Daniel.

Watts is on the COVID list.

How'd the Steelers do against the Lions?

UChieffyBugger 12-21-2021 07:06 PM

Tyler Lockett and Alex Collins were put on the covid list on Thursday and wasn't able to make it for today's game so those put on the list today may have an uphill battle to make it tbh.

Tomlin today:
"I’ve been extremely pleased with the attitude and approach in dealing with covid,” coach Mike Tomlin said Tuesday at his weekly press conference. “Our agenda is to make it a winning edge for us. We need to deal with it relatively well, meaning we need to deal with it better than others. I like our mindset and the actions of our group in that regards.”

Hard to understand why with so much at stake guys aren't being more cautious, not because there's health risk but because there's huge team success risk. What was it fivehead called Mike Vanderjagt? Just sayin.

Do we have enough defensive players on the practice squad to field a lineup?

A few of the monoclonal's aren't effective with omnicron is what TLO is saying.

If you listened to what he has been saying over time and in depth rather than sound bites you would know his real thoughts on all of this.

He has never said it has no risk etc...he just thinks treatments are less risk than the vaccine if you are healthy and aren't someone with comorbidities or 65 or older etc....

He almost got vaccinated but couldn't get the shot the day he was going to then the whole J&J getting halted happened.

ThyKingdomCome15 12-21-2021 07:33 PM

Quit testing players who aren't sick. This is a sick joke.

More cautious...not this shit again. Don't blame people for catching a ****ing virus, you never have in your life until this shit cropped up.

It's a highly contagious variant. Everyone is gonna get this ****er. You can't stop it. Blaming people for not being cautious enough is bullshit. Knock it off.
