I've heard that too but I find no truth to it and unless I see quotes or hear Patrick say it myself I'm not going believe it. Also why would he say that if they find a stud WR in the draft? Vroch is good at finding talent I trust Vranch very much. I looked for article and didn't find anything other than Josh Gordon and extending Tyreek Hill. |

My concern with Metcalf is similar to Hardman. He’s a GREAT deep threat and has elite speed…but struggles running routes that expose the defenses ability to defend the intermediate middle of the field with someone other than Kelce. I haven’t spent a lot of time the last couple seasons to see if he’s improved in that subsection of his position, but his combine change of direction numbers were poor, so I’m assuming he hasn’t improved greatly in that area.
The thought of DK running that jet sweep though….wow. Or even blocking for it. I guess I think Cooper or Lockett being a better scheme fit. Or a few other guys that will be available that run crisp routes and are smart. If we give up a first and third for DK, we better be getting a premium pick back. |
I could see the Chiefs trading for a Seattle receiver, but I'd bet on Tyler Lockett before Metcalf.
You basically can acquire him on a 2/$26M deal, if I'm interpreting the out correctly. If you cut him after next season you're on the hook for $7.5M in dead cap. I could see throwing Seattle a mid-round pick for that. |

Dude....the Seahawks aren't going to trade away Metcalf. They can build a team around him.

It makes 0 sense for them to trade their baller WR whos on a rookie deal. Now, Lockett I could them moving. |

If they didn't have Hill, Metkalf is a better fit. Since they do, Lockett is not a bad bet to me. |
