Hurricane tornadoes are generally very weak. Almost no chance of anything EF3 or higher like we see in the Midwest.

I added the ones already in the thread. If you have requests let me or a mod know. I'm going to be in and out (that's what she said) however.

Tornado warnings all around us in the Stuart, FL area and it’s early yet.

A friend of mine just let me know a tornado took out a manufactured home community in North Fort Myers. This was a tornado in that area but not sure it it’s the same one that hit the manufactured home place.

Thanks Otter, you're a gentleman and a scholar.

You have just about as many cars on that bridge coming as they are going.

I thought they told people to get the hell out of there.

How was it wrong? Nowhere did I say there wouldn't be tornadoes. They are just much less violent than midwest tornadoes.

"Usually, tornadoes produced by tropical cyclones are relatively weak and short-lived, but they still pose a significant threat."

https://www.weather.gov/cae/tropical...icant%20threat.

"In general, tornadoes associated with hurricanes are relatively weak and short lived, especially in comparison to those that occur over the Great Plains"

https://www.weather.gov/cae/tropical...icant%20threat.

The early effects of the hurricane are interacting with another weather system/front to create these stronger than normal hurricane-related tornadoes.
