WTF is this shit?

I'd bet he's wrong.
If he's not we've secured depth and an insurance policy should Morris get hurt. This probably also guarantees we don't have to move Thuney to LT if injuries hit.

Derrick says the Chiefs have been monitoring Humphries situation for the last month.

htismaqe 11-22-2024 07:27 PM

Yeah I could totally see them trying to stick with Wanya. Oh well. Humphries will eventually start one way or another. He's just better.

RunKC 11-22-2024 07:30 PM

There’s no way they stick with Wanya IMO. They wouldn’t make this move if they felt fine with him.

This guy is going to start next month

Daniel "Cornell Powell is my sleeper pick of the draft" Harms.

If this post is on ChiefsPlanet dot com, then I am horny

Hammock Parties 11-22-2024 07:35 PM

So what we think? Can he get ready for the Chargers in 16 days?

Cleveland might be more realistic. And we definitely need him there.

Continuity my ass! That only matters if people are getting the job done. I don't believe that's the case here.

Yeah, this is not a cheap signing. It's also another roster spot they gotta make room for. We aren't backfilling for an injury at the position, either. Only reason you sign a guy of this caliber is you want him to start.

We all know how much Andy values continuity.

I think if we signed him with designs on him being a starter, he'll be starting by the Chargers game, yes.

Wisconsin_Chief 11-22-2024 07:46 PM

This is a game changing move. I can’t believe none of us ever even mentioned him. Was he even showing up on free agent lists? I don’t recall ever seeing his name.

It’s like the football Gods created an 81 overall LT on Madden and put him in free agency for us to sign. It’s just crazy, this dude wasn’t even on anyone’s radar.

Just wow.
