His crew has been flag-happy for defensive pass interference and illegal contact, from what I remember.

Which has made them a rough draw when playing the Bengals, since Chase is then allowed to committ offensive pass interference as much as he wants, without any physicality coming back at him.

With Hopkins, a crew that allows a little more contact from the WR may be offset a little for us.

As you noted, in the past all that did was work against us. Our DBs are physical, our WRs worked in space.

But with Kelce being slower and D-Hop being a contested catch guy, there might be a little bit of mitigation for us with those crews.

Not afraid at all. We should win for certain.

I think you’re going to see us continue to kill them in the middle of the field quickly with Kelce/Hopkins.

There’s just too much firepower for them to cover.

I think we'd be well served to run a similar gameplan to last time with the quick hitters and faster developing route concepts.

Anderson and Hunter are nasty. Autry is a nice rotational rusher in his own right.

That defense can give us a little trouble but if we just operate fast, it keeps them from being able to do too much damage. And at that point the Humphries/Thuney question would barely even matter.

The Chiefs are getting set for a Divisional Round matchup with the Texans on Saturday and we now know what referee crew will be in charge of the contest.

Clay Martin, who has been with the NFL since 2015 and a referee since 2018, was assigned as the head referee for the 3:30 PM CT game. Kansas City is a perfect 6-0 in the Patrick Mahomes era with Martin refereeing, giving the Chiefs an extra advantage in a contest they're already big favorites in.

I've always been fond of Martin as far as officials go, but an advantage? Lol.

Going 6-0 is nothing for a Mahomes team. I'd be disappointed if it was any worse than 5-1. Dude needs to shut up.

Right. Kid has an .800 career winning percentage. He's got lopsided winning records with every ref in the game.

If it weren't for refs existing, Mahomes would have never won a game.

Travis Kelce mentions people said "we can't win in the playoffs" on McAfee.

Also said he feels 22 years old...

The best offense of all time right there. It didn't even phase em. They knew how good they were. They are just like we will just score four times in a row then. When Mahomes scored when it was 24-0, he knew. He was amped up. Lots of times when a team scores in that situation its relief but it isn't that type of energy. Truly an amazing experience watching that game and it announced to the world the Chiefs have arrived.

"three touchdowns in lightning fashion!"
