Someone needs to step up this year and makes some plays, whether it's White, Russell, Nelson or Cooper. So far, it hasn't happened yet, at least from what I've seen. |

Anyone else think Murray should be number 2? He looks more confident than Foles and has had some nice plays.

Murray is the #3, Bray is traded or cut, Hogan to the PS. Foles is crazy expensive next year.

I have to give the devil his due. Alex looks really good this preseason. I really like the way he's keeping his eyes downfield when under diress. I know people around him have improved but I'm impressed with progress I'm seeing this late in his career. If they improve in the redzone it's going to be a really good offense.

I expect the Chiefs to pick up his option, unless of course, he's called into duty and sucks ass. |

The different between the passes of Smith,Foles and Murray was pretty surprising.
Arm strength Bray Foles Murray . . Smith Who knows about Hogan. Smith has to fully step into the ball to complete anything beyond 12-ish yards. Even Murray looks like he's throwing fastballs compared to Smith. LMAO |

Crazy talk. |

If not, the Chiefs had better pick a QB high next year because it doesn't look like Murray, Hogan or Bray are #2 NFL QB's at this point in time. ------------ http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/ni...s-with-chiefs/ In the end, Foles agreed on a one-year deal with the Chiefs that includes a team option for a second year, according to ESPN.com. The deal will pay Foles $1.75 million in 2016, and then will pay him between $6.75 million to $16 million in 2016, depending on whether or not he gets any playing time in Kansas City this season. |

Hill should play over Wilson. That is all.
|
Smith
Foles Hogan Cut the rest. I am tired of those two experiments. Neither look capable of ever being more than 3rd string. |
missed the game! :(
cliff notes? |

Conley look good? |

The Chiefs ran 45 offensive plays in the first half of the game. They dominated the Bears. Morse was out with the flu and Fulton filled in for him. The defense looked much improved over last week and even the 2nd team D stopped the Bears 1st team O in the second half. Lots of reasons to be optimistic. |

Hard to find anyone on the chiefs who didn't look good. I take that back ... WR Wilson looked crappy (avoided contract twice that cost us yards) CB/S Fleming looked crappy(against Chicago's scrubs in the 4th quarter) |

Unless Alex Smith throws it hard and down like a pitcher, he looks like he's lobbing it. |

Said it like it was a fact it was something like "the will only be 2 quarterbacks on this roster ..." |

Bray can't stay healthy and Murrah has not shown much and turns the ball over. |

Watching now.
Our DL has been getting hella penetration all preseason but they're just not able to get their hands on the backs in the backfield. That's frustrating. We need to clean that up when week 1 rolls around. This Bears DB Jones-Quartey or whatever the **** is a mouthy little shit. I already don't like him. |

Now we know why Dorsey turned down that piss poor Bears organization. We have a few holes who doesn't come back Houston this team will be ****ing special
|
I'm rolling with Alex this year man 11 TDs 2 int career post season. That's not dilfer or johnson we can win it all with this guy
|
Drunk posting I don't give a **** anyone who posts bullshit on Smith should be banned this year. We all were so ****ing wrong on this guy and Fisher (minus milkman who said fisher has the most upside out of any tackle in the 13 draft and Mav who blindly licked smith's balls) the man's arm strength looks improved. When he stood in there got creamed and delivered a strike today that says everything. I don't know when the last time we've seen a Chiefs QB do that. If the secondary stays healthy and Houston comes back Smith is taking us to the Super bowl.
|
You'll notice after that play today Smith waived off the trainers few plays later they called a passing play he wasn't timid at all. Later on he took off on a scramble.

Either his wrist or back. He really didn't need to stay in.

I'm surprised nobody has posted the KC Chiefs Nuns! That was the coolest thing!

I like Aaron Murray as the third QB for this team, and while I'd like him to clean up his ball security, I am not overeacting to that.
That said, I was looking at some things regarding Chris Jones, and found this from PFF. https://www.profootballfocus.com/pro...d-round-steal/ Murray had a higher rating than Foles from last night's game. If you ever needed proof that PFF is a joke, there it is. |
On the subject of Chris Jones, I've seen some other comparisons, but watching him, I am reminded of Buck Buchannon.
That combination of lean, size, quickness and power that Buck had is the same that I see in Jones. |

Calling it terrible is the overreaction. It was a high throw, but not a terrible throw, since Robinson was able to get his hands on the ball. |
couple notes here:
-Justin March was awesome yesterday. The guy was fast and read plays much better than last week. He won the job yesterday IMO. -Steven Nelson played really well. Here's a great play by both Nelson and March. Nelson holds the block at the line and beats the WR to make the tackle on the screen. Justin March is damn fast to the sideline and is there to assist. <a href="https://imgflip.com/gif/19nf1l"><img src="https://i.imgflip.com/19nf1l.gif" title="made at imgflip.com"/></a> |

2nd play of the game. March gets aggressive and gets the TFL.
<a href="https://imgflip.com/gif/19ng9j"><img src="https://i.imgflip.com/19ng9j.gif" title="made at imgflip.com"/></a> Close up.. <a href="https://imgflip.com/gif/19ngdx"><img src="https://i.imgflip.com/19ngdx.gif" title="made at imgflip.com"/></a> Here's the speed to go sideline-to-sideline in a hurry. Mauga doesn't have this ability. <a href="https://imgflip.com/gif/19nggb"><img src="https://i.imgflip.com/19nggb.gif" title="made at imgflip.com"/></a> Another example of his speed. Right there to the other side of the field to make the tackle with DJ. <a href="https://imgflip.com/gif/19ngja"><img src="https://i.imgflip.com/19ngja.gif" title="made at imgflip.com"/></a> Every year we expect a few young guys to step up and a few to not step up. IMO the young guys who will step up and break out are March and Conley. |
