It would be fitting that Dorsey finally hit on an ILB in his final draft with the Chiefs.

I'm starting to get a weird feeling that Tamba may not be on the roster for long.
|
Quote:
History has shown us that there will be missed time at both ILB positions. |

That won't cover injuries or adding players to the 53. They're stuck with him this year. |
I havnt heard anything on Sorenson. How is he looking?
|
I think Wilson starts next to DJ.
Eligwe's probably DJ's replacement next year unless he just tears it up and they have no choice but to put him at TED. |

Hali's contract was grossly mishandled by Dorsey. |

DJ, Mauga and JML were all hurt for extended periods of time last year. We needed to bulk up that entire position. |

Very good read on takeaways from Training Camp so far

Uh, no, dipshit. This is the second camp for Travis after being signed to the Practice Squad in 2015. Travis had a decent camp (note, singular) in 2016, which allowed him to stick, but he fell apart during the regular season. That report doesn't provide any further insight. It's just fanspeak. |

And if Sweeney's been there the past three years, he's familiar with Smith looking like Favre in TC, then reverting to Alex Smith once the season begins and therefore should know better than to hype him at this time of the year. There's no tackling right now, either. It's all just for mental work. |

I love the fact we get to play New England while they unveil their new super bowl banner, it will show the young guys right off the bat what it's all about chasing greatness.
|
Our D can limit Brady. The question is can our O go toe to toe with Brady. We are gonna have to force turnovers
|
I don't see any teams limiting the Pats.
This is the best offensive roster NE has ever had. Yes better than the 18-1 season |

All we need to do is hit Brady. Easier said than done, but at that age, nobody wants to get hit. |
Quote:
Will it happen this year? It's possible. Likely, no, but possible. |
Quote:
Brady has been on a high antioxidant diet to fight inflammation for years. He eats right and now you're seeing guys like Rodgers do it too. |

I just want to see Brady standing on the sidelines and read his lips saying
"worst game ever" |
Quote:
It's certainly possible that he starts to show his age this year. I think next year is more likely though. |
Quote:
Brady's diet will surely help him extend his body for awhile longer. It's cool seeing this become a trend. Aaron Rodgers gave up dairy and eats close to a vegan diet and David Johnson gave up added sugar. Guys are learning how to take care of themselves better. |
Quote:
http://www.webmd.com/diet/news/20160...undchen-diet#1 But with that said eventually age will catch up to him. Who knows when but it will happen. |
Quote:
Brady had the luxury of resting for 1/4 of the season last year...dont discount that. At that age, injuries happen/linger that wouldn't at 25... I'm not saying he fades in obscurity this season...I'm saying the odds of going an entire year, injury-free, gets less likely. I couldn't imagine taking NFL-level hits at his age... |

I saw that when Andy called him old. |

That's the problem...they are stuck. |
Parker Ehinger is one month away from returning, per a post on his Instagram account. ---> https://twitter.com/pgsween/status/892473265658245120
He shouldn't miss much time at all. |
Anymore videos of Mahomes wrecking shit?

Did they have a closed practice today or something? Haven't seen any tweets about today.

Guys I'm interested in seeing other than Pat Mahomes:
LB Ukeme Eligwe OL Bryan Witzmann RB Kareem Hunt WR Seantavius Jones |
Kpass, too
|
Any word on how Benny Logan is looking? Loosing Poe and others leaves some big shoes to fill. I know he has looked good in the past. Is he a penciled in starter?

OL Bryan Witzmann - been running with the 1's, unseating Fulton. RB Kareem Hunt - as advertised. Great hands, great vision, lacks elite speed. WR Seantavius Jones - has been running with the 1s on occasion, and is producing against good defenders. Shown excellent hands and the ability to get open and come down with the ball. This is his 4th year, and he has legit size (6'3", though don't tell anyone in the Mahomes Thread or we'll have WW III, or is it WW II? What does Rivals list it as?) This is what I've gathered based on camp reports, interviews, and tweets. I am not at camp, personally. |

Who is playing 5-tech DE while Jones is hurt?

He's the hardest worker we have, Reid has said this several times and so did Romeo when he was the HC. If he isn't practicing there is a good reason, believe me. |

But let us all freak out because Tamba "called guys out". JFC. God forbid a player demands accountability and commitment from his teammates. |

It's the freakin' start of camp. The first goddamn day. They're not going to hold him out on the first days of camp due to "precautionary measures" if he's ready to go. DJ just came off an achilles tear. Where's his "precautionary measures"? Berry was a few months removed from freakin' chemo and he was out there on the first day of camp. Where were his "precautionary measures"? You know what they do with players who need to be eased in? Players who need "precautionary measures"? They run them. They play them. THEN they rest them a few days and do it again. They don't put them on the PUP. |
