Very close to zero. Advertisers were getting heat, and they likely threatened to pull all funds so 810 had no choice. Still prob lost a ton of advertising dollars, but parting ways with KK gives them a chance to move forward.

In an earlier segment, Kietzman brought up Reid’s “criminal problems with his own family” in a rant wherein he described the Chiefs of the 1990s as a “heavy-handed, dirty, rotten group of thugs”:

Kietzman’s Andy Reid takes are arguably not even his most objectionable. Here he is railing against transgender athletes, Title IX, and what he describes as an influx of men competing athletically as women due to limitations in men’s athletic scholarships. Title IX is causing gender fluidity, according to Kietzman:

I'm not sure it's worth a thread, but can people summarize from top to bottom who the best and worst "journalists" and personalities were on this story?

I don't follow the media, so I don't have a full rundown. But if we were to rank the media from 1 through whatever on the Tyreek Hill story, what would the rankings be? Who was a good journalist and who did not follow journalistic ethics.

Right now, I think the list is:

1. Everybody else.
2. Kevin Kietzman
3. Mike Florio
4. Brooke Pryor

Can someone help me flesh out the list?

Correct. My vote was simply that the incident alone wasn't bad enough to fire a long time employee. It was inappropriate.. particularly the way it was worded made it worse. This kind of stuff and trolling/playing the heel have been his schtick.

I don't mind it though. Hopefully the next person will put some effort in. His show had been on cruise control for years. He didn't seem to have a positive relationship with the other on air personalities at his own station. Maybe he's a dickhead off the air too, dunno.

Yeah, I think the way these things usually work is that the Chiefs wait for the next request to interview someone and then say something like, "To conserve our nations's energy resources, our policy is to not conduct interviews with stations that are more than X miles away from Arrowhead, and it looks like you're two feet outside our service area."

Yeah, I think the way these things usually work is that the Chiefs wait for the next request to interview someone and then say something like, "To conserve our nations's energy resources, our policy is to not conduct interviews with stations that are more than X miles away from Arrowhead, and it looks like you're two feet outside our service area."
