Well if it works the way in college as it does for throwing a pass in the NFL for a QB then he clearly didn't cross the LOS. Mahomes let go of a TD pass against the Titans, I believe, in the playoffs where all but his back foot was over the LOS and it counted because by rule he did not cross the LOS.

I think there’s a MUCH stronger argument that forward progress should have been called than saying the handoff was somehow illegal.

In real-time, I assumed forward progress was called. Then I saw the QB several yards down field with the ball. I figured it must’ve been a damn good play fake or something.

I was trying to figure out how they score was only 20-18 after 9 OT’s. I assumed the box score on ESPN was screwed up.

Penn State only scores 18 points in 9 OT’s while Wake Forest scores 70 points in a normal regulation game today.
