Lawyers plural needed. Al Cowlings needs to convince him to give up.

I think the whole incident looks different when all the victims of the crash are out of the hospital and safely home. That seems to be step #1. I hope the Chiefs can get Mr. Rice some help - because the conduct is lacking in judgement. Call me prude if you want, but some of the excess drinking by the Chiefs at parades - nothing good can come from this. I appreciate how great a player he is - and I would hate to see his talents wasted from this incident. He is a great player and wish him the best.
I am hoping that he wasn't even there - that someone stole his car. |

Oh you should all stop drinking.
The 1st year is weird but after that it's fun to remember events. |

Like, apparently Rice and his friends impacted a car with a 4-year old in it. Imagine if the car had flipped, as it easily could have at those speeds, and killed the kid. |

A friend told me it takes blow about 48 hours to leave your system and not show up on a blood test.
Just sayin'... |
I lived in Kansas City when Derrick Thomas played for the Chiefs. Quite a few times he blew by me on I - 70 and I was doing 70+ and he blew by me easily - license plate something like "ISACQBS". In Chicago, Walter Payton often was clocked way over 100 MPH... and pulled over. I am selfish as a Chiefs fan - #4 - we need you - let's not mess it up this way.

So..nothing still? Is he fleeing all the way to a non extradition country? Shits not that bad

P Diddy flew him out of KC on his plane

The woman at the end of the video mentioned something about them having firearms...this keeps getting worse.

Think about how stupid this is — they knew the cops would trace it back to the owner. Either Rice isn’t there or they got out of there before they had to blow into a breathalyzer. The whole thing is just weird. |

Rice was definitely there. If he wasn't, either he, the team or his agent would've said so a long time ago. |
I’m told Rice has an attorney

I suppose maybe he spent all this time getting his story straight. And getting his buddies to corroborate it.

Let’s wait for the facts to come out. Some of you are quick to judge believing he fled the scene of the accident, but I’m sure with proper legal counsel, we will get the truth that he left to seek immediate medical attention. The delay in meeting with the police was out of his control until he cleared concussion protocol. Nothing more to see…

Having lived in Texas, I can kind of understand why a group of black men do not want to wait around for the cops. Even in the video there were a lot of false assumptions such as the cars being stolen. Whether or not what the woman said about guns is true or not, I don't know, but if police show up and they have been told that there is an armed group of black men who stole cars, it probably isn't going to end well for those black men.

They're 20-something children. At that point in their lives they're pretty much run by their first instincts, and fleeing in that situation is probably the strongest feeling they had. Let's wait a minute before crucifying these kids for the sin of being immature. |

They should have let bag go with one fall guy and rest stayed as long as drivers weren’t drunk/high. Wouldn’t be too serious but prob panicked at the time. Guess would be everyone was a little stoned and they freaked out.
