I wouldn't go throwing it away, and I'm not a big fan of spending that much on a guy who plays every 5 days, but if they were to go after a big SS or CF, I'd be ok with paying above market price.

But, everyone has more money. We don't have more money. The only added "worth" we get is the contracts already signed before the increase in TV money.

What a player is worth in the league stays the same. They might get higher $'s but its still the same worth being divided.

Do you want to be on the hook for 27.5 million for a 38 year old Cliff Lee?

'Hamas' Jenkins 06-17-2013 06:58 PM

Just a thought: That increase in TV money might be needed to lock up players in that currently-ranked #1 overall farm system to buy up some of their arb years and delay their FA by a few years.

**** up those cubbies like you were born to. 2-0.

And, Miller leaves the game, hope it's only a cramp.

Considering he's a member of my auction keeper team, I'm sure the injury will be as severe as possible.

Never had injury luck like I have with that team.

Ludwick
Motte
Niemann
Ramos
Kemp
Harper
Gyorko
Moreland
Kinsler
Tulo
Cobb

34-man roster, one roster move a month.

So, sorry folks. My love of Shelby Miller in fantasy baseball is probably a death knell.

Mi_chief_fan 06-17-2013 08:51 PM

It's being reported by multiple sources now as a cramp. Makes sense on a hot muggy night with a 2 hour rain delay. Also, sorry about your fantasy team, that's just awful, awful luck man.

O.city 06-17-2013 08:54 PM

3 of our last 4 batters have hit piss rockets and none of the three have a hit to show for it.

Good to hear.

Good news in my fantasy league is that I'm only two points out of first and will come roaring back as I get healthy.

Pepe Silvia 06-17-2013 09:08 PM

Whew, they called Yadi safe. I'll have to check that.

'Hamas' Jenkins 06-17-2013 09:08 PM

Holy **** that was hilarious. Only the Cubs. ROFL ROFL

He is only 1 win from tying the record for wins by a rookie before the All-Star break. Bet that pick up is the envy of the league?

Pepe Silvia 06-17-2013 09:10 PM

He was out but I'll take it. lol

Miles 06-17-2013 09:10 PM

That was hilarious.
