Is it possible that the magic that the Night King uses is the same magic that keeps Jon alive just like it keeps the white walkers alive? And if that is the case, would Jon die if he kills the Night King?

Are you saying the Night King and the Lord of Light are either one and the same or two sides of the same coin?

Considering it likes blood sacrifice and human sacrifice: most likely.

Then again Jon said there was nothing on the other side of death so the Lord of Light might be nothing but what some witches and warlocks claim their magic comes from.

I've been rewatching the series and there's a scene where the red woman made a statement that there are only two gods, the Lord of Light and Darkness. So I would guess his end game is to triumph over the NK who I assume serves the other side.

Maybe or maybe there are no gods at all. They asked Jon what was on the other side of death and he said nothing was on the other side.

Or, he wasn't really *dead* in the full sense given that it was the Lord of Light's plan for him to be resurrected by Melisandre.
