Are you saying the Night King and the Lord of Light are either one and the same or two sides of the same coin?

The Lord of Light is the one making all the events happen would be the theory.

Oh like the Bran is the Lord of Light theory.

RustShack 09-04-2017 04:44 AM

Good catch. But my point is still valid. Rope not equal to a neck. Ladies passing sentences can cut a rope, no?

It could just want massive amounts of death because it's an asshole.

Considering it likes blood sacrifice and human sacrifice: most likely.

Then again Jon said there was nothing on the other side of death so the Lord of Light might be nothing but what some witches and warlocks claim their magic comes from.

I've been rewatching the series and there's a scene where the red woman made a statement that there are only two gods, the Lord of Light and Darkness. So I would guess his end game is to triumph over the NK who I assume serves the other side.

Isn't the Lord of Light the opposing counterpart to the Lord of Darkness or whatever it was called. I thought I heard Melisandre discussing that. Or maybe I read it and forgot where.

Maybe or maybe there are no gods at all. They asked Jon what was on the other side of death and he said nothing was on the other side.

Or, he wasn't really *dead* in the full sense given that it was the Lord of Light's plan for him to be resurrected by Melisandre.
