ChiefsPlanet - Chiefs Marcus Peters traded to Rams

I have an interesting (and plausible) idea.

Aaron Donald is in the last year of his contract in LA...

What if KC is throwing in a pick with Peters to get Donald and the trade has been worked out as far as compensation and is pending KC signing Donald to an extension that they are hammering out right now?

I hope they're still trying to work out something and that's the reason why the specifics of the trade haven't been released.

Hammering out an extension certainly would help explain the delay.

This would be like the Eagles trading Fletcher in his prime just a few years ago. I don't know but would love to have Donald for sure !!

I'm torn on this I love his fire, it's like no other at the same time his fire is what gets him in trouble on the field. I would say his positives outweigh his negatives and I love what he gets pissed off about. He even gets mad getting beat, you don't see that often from most as their just happy to pickup a check. I guess i'll wait and see what we get in return, if it's peanuts no way i would have done the deal. At least the dude cares even if he doesn't handle himself well, A rare quality in this day and age.
