The good news is you don't have to be 16-0 to make the playoffs. One score loss on the road against a very good team, nbd . We have the season to get healthy and adjust.

mlyonsd 09-18-2016 02:11 PM

Mother ****er how was that not PI

These two weeks tell us what we are: a poorly-coached team with a good defense that will give up big passing plays paired with a bad, streaky-okay for a series or two offense that can't be relied on for anything. Maybe ten wins with the right bounces and some return scores, then if we get a wildcard a playoff exit against a playoff-caliber team with a championship quarterback.

How many more weapons do we need to throw more than 5 yards?

Andy Reid has coached football for 20 years. This offense hasn't changed. And it isn't going to. You might go downfield slightly more with another QB, but Reid's entire goal is to get as much speed as possible, and stretch the field horizontally to get them in open space where they can make plays. He did it in Philly, and he's doing it here. It is not going to change. This is what we are.

It's like putting 5 Shaquille O'Neals out there on the basketball floor and complaining that they don't shoot enough 3s.

Why has the NFL determined that you can't block on returns?
