I would say his positives outweigh his negatives and I love what he gets pissed off about. He even gets mad getting beat, you don't see that often from most as their just happy to pickup a check. I guess i'll wait and see what we get in return, if it's peanuts no way i would have done the deal. At least the dude cares even if he doesn't handle himself well, A rare quality in this day and age.

Haven’t seen this much fire since Eddie Freeman.

I have an interesting (and plausible) idea.

Aaron Donald is in the last year of his contract in LA...

What if KC is throwing in a pick with Peters to get Donald and the trade has been worked out as far as compensation and is pending KC signing Donald to an extension that they are hammering out right now?

You're going to have them burning LA to the ground tonight.

Let us stop. We're not getting Aaron Donald. Maybe he has an undrafted FA cousin named Aaron McDonald who is a throw in. That's infinitely more likely.

This is like buying a lotto ticket and for 30 seconds enjoying the dream of actually winning. We are the Chiefs. This will never be us.

Seems plausible. Would like to see them throw in Wade Phillips to sweeten the deal, though.

HAHA, I think all of it is a pipe dream but i'll withhold judgement until we see how it goes down.

He doesn't give a crap about tackling.

I think his main point here is that the Chiefs may be getting somebody in the deal and hammering out a contract before announcing. If its just picks, there is no reason to delay it.

I am connecting the dots and being hopeful.

Peters and Donald are similarly skilled players at their respective positions. If Donald is part of the deal, I’m super excited. I’m a huge fan.

Even if you have to pay the guy big bucks, he’s worth it.

The fact he is going into the last year of his rookie deal (his option year) means maybe the Rams would rather have a CBon a rookie deal than pay Donald big money.

Reasons it makes sense:

1) Usually compensation has been revealed by now in trades.
2) Donald is in the last year of his deal.
3) It’s been reported a first rounder isn’t included, and they don’t have a second. ...A player has to be included then. Right? We didn’t trade Peters for a third, did we?

I don't think there is any way we have traded him away for a third. There has to be another shoe about to drop and I like the way you are thinking.

I have a sinking feeling the Chiefs know this trade isn't going to go over well and the compensation we got back is only going to increase the flames, so they're dragging it out as long as possible.

threebag 02-24-2018 12:19 AM

Just be ready for a rubber that was used on a Kardashian as compensation.

Probably Caitlyn

doing that only hurts them more in the fans eyes. Just wouldn't make sense.

Oh we do IF we get AD and I see this as a fair trade. The best dominant d-lineman in the game that still has at least 3-4 good years under his belt.
