If Veach thinks he'll be ready by Training Camp in August, Fisher will have had 6 full months of rehab to that point, with another 6 weeks before the season begins.

Even if it takes a full nine months before he's returned to the starting lineup, we're looking at October 1, 2021, not late November or December.

I’m hopeful especially reading this.

Written by an MD and specifically stating that recovery times usually approach or exceed 6 months.

I do think this happening to an OL is better than skill players. Fisher isn’t going to be sprinting, cutting or stopping on a dime. He’ll pull but not every down or too often. What he’s required to do seems to not be as stressful on his Achilles.

Now if it were someone like Tyreek who depends on those things? Yeah I’d say he wouldn’t be himself for awhile.

We run a lot to the perimeter, screens, misdirection etc that require the linemen to move more than other offenses. For the most part, I agree though.

Kyle Rudolph would be a good TE2

He'll get paid by someone.

I asked this in the other thread but is the guy ever fully healthy? Maybe my memory is failing me but it seems like the guy is always banged up.

Van Noy has played 16 games in exactly one of his seven NFL seasons.

Hopefully, it won't be the Chiefs.

He'll be 32 during the 2021 season and his last four seasons were not impressive, whatsoever:

2017: 532 yards
2018: 634 yards
2019: 367 yards
2020: 334 yards

I'd sign him to a Vet Min deal with incentives but that's it.

He's been on the decline. He's not going to get starter money

Kyle Rudolph isn’t breaking the bank LMAO

I prefer the Chiefs draft somebody like McKitty on day 3 though.

We'll have plenty of money as soon as they re-work a few guys.

They could free up like $40M by doing some conversions and extending guys like Matthieu and Fisher.

Rudolph would probably make a solid 1-2 back up for Kelce.

And as far as all the Lb talk. SMOKE SCREEN. Veach created the lb narrative the year we went up for Mahomes, hell the talking heads thought we were trading for a line backer. This is all part of his smoke screen.

So we’re getting another QB?

So I’m listening to the Times Ours pod and Nate Taylor dropped a little nugget.

Spoiler!

What are you saying? We are letting our OTs walk? Or the OTs we want will be off the board by pick 31?
