It was my observation that only the sports department really gave a shit about sports celebrities.

And it seemed that they only gave a shit because they thought it might be harder to get info from athletes that were the subjects of articles generated by other news departments that might be perceived as having a negative impact on the sports celebrity's paycheck.

The news guys by and large couldn't have cared less. They dealt regularly with far more important people than athletes.

I get that you want to have a full and thorough investigation but is it really that hard to look at the available evidence and make a determination after two months? And if you can't make a determination after two months doesn't that say something too? Seriously, how long does it take to bring Tyreek and (especially) Krystal in and ask what they meant by what they said on the tape and then make a final determination, wherever that determination leads?
