Both Rapaport and Schefter were wrong multiple times regarding the compensation we got for Smith.

But we all agree that the compensation should not have been released until Fuller was informed.

They said the Chiefs were receiving a pick and a PTBNL. The only thing they got wrong was originally reporting the pick as being a 2nd round pick.

I hate to even think about throwing any gas on the Donald fire, but they've been trying to get an extension done with him since January.

Also, he missed all of training camp AND week 1 due to a holdout.

So it's possible...POSSIBLE...that the Rams hit the wall with him and maybe negotiations haven't gone well.

I still think it's a dream, but there are things to consider here.

Rapaport initially said "multiple" picks. Then went to 2nd plus player. Then the correct 3rd plus player.

No doubt it's happening, just saying it's not crazy that we don't immediately know the terms of a deal that won't be official for a few weeks.

but, we decided to pay full price, give him more guaranteed money. yeah, that’s the ticket.

Come on, guys. You're just setting yourself up for yet another dickpunch when we get our gift basket of mid round picks for Peters. They said no to trading Robert Quinn, why the **** would they decide Aaron Donald is a piece they'd move?

Agreed. Hey, if we somehow DID get Donald, I would be 100% fine with this trade. A little giddy, even. I guess we can dream for now.
