If you were correct about this, 1 of 2 things would be true: 1/ holdouts like this would be very common or 2/ the contract Chris Jones is being asked to play on is so far beyond anything any player has ever had to play on in terms of a misvaluation of his talents.

The reality is that neither is true, and that's why it's an INCREDIBLY odd and really not great look to see a player holding out at the game with his agents.

I recently heard (was it on the broadcast last night?) they (CJ & the katz twatwaffles) are asking for three years, $84M. If that were true, why tf are they stuck? Per Nick Wright his sources report KC's offer at two years, 27.25/per. That's a 750k difference per year. CJ just wants a third year on the extension, whereas we're offering two years.
