It was a no-win scenario. There's really nobody in the draft with #3 value unless we take Sanchez and trade him (which is what I've have done - and people would bitch about that, too), so your choices are to take someone everyone'll see as a reach, or to make a bad trade that everyone would lambaste (the way they've talked about Cleveland).

I mean, really, what can you do when there's no superstars on the board, and nobody wants your pick...

Yeah, it was a conundrum, no doubt. I suppose trading Sanchez after he was drafted is a bit more difficult than before. At that point, your potential trading partners have a nice bargaining chip in the fact that if they don't deal with you, you have to sign a player you never really wanted. Still, I think that would probably have been the best decision. We are a franchise that needs to take some risks.

hmm. Mayock compares Pat White to Tim Tebow, kinda like ive done on here before...They also discussed Connor Barwin being just like Mike Vrabel, which ive also discussed in here and was bashed for it.
