Not sure why people would be worried about JC or Tamba.

West/Ware did a great job while JC was out and we were statistically a better offense. As for Tamba, he had his knee scoped and cleaned out in February. If he still isn't ready to play with 7 months to prepare, then something has really gone wrong.

Do you really think Hali is still "hobbled"? He's probably as fresh and healthy as he's been in years going into the season. He didn't have a major procedure and it's been several months. He was working out with his MMA buddies before camp. I highly doubt he would've been doing that if he were "hobbled".

I have no idea because they haven't let him practice! He is 32 coming off of a knee injury.

They haven't let him practice because they want him healthy and fresh to start the season, especially with Houston coming back. Read between the lines man. This is obvious as shit. He didn't even necessarily have a "knee injury", just a procedure to clean it up.

I'm just not convinced about Mauga being jettisoned. He's proven, the other guys are not. There's value in keeping a guy like Mauga.

Mauga's a guy that the Chiefs got off the scrap heap. He's nothing special, at all.

It's time for March or Wilson to start.

There's no sense in making them sit on the bench because of Josh Mauga.

It is my understanding that except on obvious passing downs, March can't play next to Johnson as he's not big enough to take on blockers and do the dirty work.

Wilson and Mauga can do that.

I see March as DJ's replacement but now sure how much he will play this year despite the fact I think he could be really good immediately.

IIRC, his knee was swollen and a nagging issue for much of the 2015 season.

They did a fine job but JC is a home run threat all the time the others are not.

Not every starters needs to be special. Like i said, there's value in keeping a guy like Mauga. Particularly while you groom your replacements as we seem to be doing now.
