You guys are fantasizing your way into disappointment. As great as Peters can be, it doesn't appear there was much of a market for him. Why on earth would the Rams give up the best defensive player in football? That's not happening. The Rams would hang up the phone before Veach even finished the word Donald.

You're vastly underestimating just how badly Peters trade value is diminished thanks to his conduct and attitude. All the other teams should be scrambling over each other to get such a talent on his rookie deal on their team, and yet only 1 team showed anything other than lukewarm interest.
