Maybe the Rams tag Trumaine Johnson and use him as compensation. Veach has to work out a long term contract with Johnson for the deal to go through. It's got to be a player requiring a new contract to be worked out for the compensation announcement to take this long.

Seriously though, this kinda seems like a hero cop saved us from some crazy hostage taker in the movies

Marcus hated it here and probably would've took us down with him

He might turn the Rams into the greatest thing since the 2000 Ravens, or he might implode and be their own Eugene Robinson at the worst possible moment... good luck with that schizo, LA

This is the point when god comes down and intervenes. He decides we've skirted this pre-March 14th rule twice. The Alex Smith trade is voided. Kendall Fuller is just a guy under contract. Tigger returns to the board and begins to build an ark. Etc etc

True

I wondered that too, the Alex deal falls through ROFL

Yeah, I'm sure he would've had a great attitude if they went that route ROFL

What's sad is I hate Scott Pioli more than any single person who has ever been involved with the Chiefs. He's worse than Lin. Worse than anybody. His name needs to be removed from this board. CP mods please find a proper modification.

Going to bed and fully expecting to wake up and the deal is 2018 3rd and 5th and 2019 4th. Thus, being fully disappointed. I’m sure I’ll have nightmares tonight

I’d punch Scott Pioli in the throat if I saw him. I hate his guts

This and this.

Veach just wants to have plenty of picks so he can make his stance known for draft day. I'm getting the feeling there's an ego there.

The Ragland deal was awesome, and I knew it day 1 of the trade it was a steal. But I think he's just trying to stockpile now. If he tries to trade Eric Berry I'll ****ing lose it.

Compliments or complaints? Lol. No I didn't...I've hardly been in this thread since I started it and it's crazy...I'm surprised I saw this response to me

That’s more so me just being a pessimist. I have all the faith in the world in Veach so far. He’s nailed some key trades. Now, that said, he has not had a draft yet. I’m just trying to talk myself into this trade. Bill Maas’ interview on 610 was pretty spot on and said we’re going to be excited. He knows something we don’t. I’ll be stunned if this isn’t announced in the morning. I just want the package to be centered around that 23rd pick.

I’ve saw a lot of people freaking out that we traded him way too early and never let the market develop. Personally, that’s not how I have ever viewed it.

I think much more likely that it is like the Smith trade, where LA may have offered KC something that they couldn’t wait on.

Pugs want to do a drunj late night Madden game or is it too late? I've got my mic this time finally.
