I’ve got a buddy who went to camp last year up at St. Joe the first week. Said that almost every player stayed after practice to sign stuff and socialize with fans. Said Peters blew everyone off that asked or said anything. Straight back to the locker room. Back then, we both kinda laughed and said, “he’s an asshole, but he’s our asshole”... well, not anymore. For better or worse.
