Atlanta turns into a second-rounder if Jacksonville extends Ridley’s contract. That’s why Jacksonville would need to wait until after the new league year begins to avoid giving up a second, because at that point any deal would be a free agency signing and not an extension. But that gives Ridley time to talk with other teams during the negotiating window, unless he and Jacksonville can work out a loose agreement and wait. — Jeremy Fowler, ESPN

I'm telling you guys, be prepared to get the band back together and draft a WR or two.
Unless a trade makes itself available, or someone is willing to take a big haircut to get a ring, I'm not seeing us doing anything substantial. And like I said last night, Hardman has shown to be that 500-700 yard guy in this offense when healthy. We don't need to overpay for that production. |

I'll trust whatever they decide, but they way things are looking it's hard to envision this roster being improved enough on offense to afford any sort of regression on D. I know there's still plenty of time left to make moves, but the way the chips are falling has me concerned. |

Mooney got $13 mil/yr and no one expected him to sign for a deal like this and he's definitely not big time. |
