That single run that would have scored on the bases loaded walk would have affected later decisions by Yost, such as bringing Escobar in on the ground ball that scored a run.

Funny how you can look back at 1 pitch and how it effects everything thereafter. Same thing happened in the first game

Losing a game is obviously part of most series, but losing after having a three run lead is what makes this so hard to swallow.

Yost... won't steal, pulled Vargas, pulled Duffy just after a big strikeout... allowed the momentum shift. worst in game decision manager in the league. Too bad that we will be stuck with him for at least 2 years after going to the WS

The bright spot is our cyborgs got needed rest for the final stretch of the series. For some reason I'm not really upset. I feel good about our chances, guys.

Low leverage Strickland up next!

I wish I had as much confidence in Shields as some of you have.

Sorry for being a lil bitch tonight. :toast: I take KC sports way too seriously.

Three more outs and, well, nothing...

A very beat-down team tonight.

I hope they're to young to be demoralized like they should...

He's due for a good outing, that's for sure

I hope we have a chance to use them tomorrow, but I highly doubt it. I have NO FAITH in running Shields out for a Playoff game, especially against MadBum

The over-reactions in this thread are borderline entertaining.

Relax, guys.

LOL, we don't even "send it" (and don't give me any shit about him always having the green light!!) when it on! We have the slap-artist "slap" into a DP instead of bunt!

Brilliant!

Heh.

I just wanted Ned to manage like THIS. He was PERFECT last night. And I'm the guy who was kinda angry we went Finnegan over Wade Davis last night. But Ned...he deserves a few apologies. One from me, no doubt
