We need to stop pounding ceh up the middle on first down every time. Those outside runs are where it's at also need to figure out how to get him the ball in open space.

Any time a team runs up the middle on a 1st and 10 or 2nd and 10 they are just wasting expected points on that possession.

we haven't been mixing it up though. I don't think we ran outside at all until the 3rd quarter. Let CEH hide behind the linemen running sweeps, he can cut it upfield anytime he wants. That should help our Oline with their blocks.

I think I'm done trying to explain simple shit like this. The inside run CLEARLY sets up other things. You get what you can get. With the 3-8 alignment, we probably should have run MORE up the middle, but I digress.

I love Clyde, but he missed some reads/cuts/holes tonight (and still averaged 4 per carry).

Their defense is sketchy without the injuries.

They don’t worry me at all. Tampa is one dimensional. They can move the ball in the air but have ZERO running game. Maybe that game is a shootout but our defense is a lot better than theirs
