C-Mac thank you very much. I can give as much feedback as Im able to see. Both have a download on about 30kb/s but the upload is the thing thats different I get 140kb/s on the first one and 0kb/s on the backup. I dont know if this means anything to you guys but thats the only thing I can spot thats a difference.

Actually, that probably doesn't mean anything. The "upload" speed is the speed at which you are sending out information to others online. The primary stream will probably max out your upload speed, because it's been listed on a national website and probably has TONS of people on it. The "backup" stream probably doesn't have as many people on it, so you probably won't be uploading very much.

I wish it was a informercial on oldies music. It's some orthopedic foot thing. It's cool. I know when it comes down to it, we'll be seeing the game.

You guys are saving me some money in stomach medecine and regain. I used to watch the games on NFL.com team stats page. You know the opponents have the ball. You are waiting for the playchart to update with a 3rd and out or something and that horrible Wav file (touchdown.wav) plays (always before the playchart updates) and you know someone on the chiefs D choked. I swear even when the chiefs score the touchdown.wav makes me cringe.

Ahh...I see your confusion. Must've been two different informercials during the 10:00 hour. Pregame's on now.

Aha, I see thank you very much for the explination. My upload is ushually 800kb/s to the US, 28d/10u mbit/s connection. One of the perks of living in Sweden. :)

C-Mac 10-29-2006 11:12 AM

OK.... I have retooled.

Whoa...that's awesome. I wish I had that kind of upload pipe. It sucks to have to broadcast this stuff at such low bitrates, but it's better than nothing!

So, how did you get into the Chiefs in Sweden? Are you U.S. born, or is there some other explanation?

mylittlepony 10-29-2006 11:17 AM

Nah, we had the NFL coverage over a decade ago (just came back on tv last year). I used to love watching it with my dad. Joe Montana was my absolute favourite player. And he was a Chief back then. After one game against Denver when the Chiefs came from behind on the final drive. My dad got me a Joe Montana jersey and I was hooked. I've been trying to get atleast a couple of games on video every year since then. A couple of years ago with the p2p shares it got alot easier. Now I can watch them live through streams. And against Pittsburg I got to see the Chiefs live on Swedish-TV for the first time in a decade (to bad it was such a bad game).

I just checked the backup again. Its better but still a little choppy. The audio is slightly behind the video as well.

mylittlepony 10-29-2006 11:23 AM

Yes backup works very well now. Thank you very much.

Don't want to be a noodge, but what is the best way to deal with stream stuttering? I have a dedicated T1 here, so it's not pipe.
