It's possible, but monogamous love is an exceedingly rare thing in humans. (Case studies, compared against the brain waveforms of the American Vole, yada yada yada.)
Physical attraction is a large portion of what people can define of "love," but it's still only a portion. And it's also a reason why most people are not monogamous, regardless of what they say, do, whathaveyou.
And you are theoretically young. Lots of emotions based on raging hormones and the like. And your youth (man, who the hell am I? Methuselah?) is most likely what the doctor in question is trying to take advantage of.
And I have no idea where I'm going with this at this point.
