Let me try. Some one name a poster who's screen name starts with OneTheWarpath and ends a numeral that falls between 57 and 59. I'm waiting.... Jesus ****ing Christ.... this thread has been an abortion from the word go. |
Does anyone know Edwards contract situation? I believe he's a FA at the end of the season. If so, Edwards could become a unrestricted FA unless the NFL negotiates a new CBA. I'm sure Tannenbaum would've addressed that in the contract. He would be foolish not too.
The Cleveland Plain Dealer reported, a source said the picks are a conditional third round draft picks -- therefore, it could become a second round draft pick. |
Actually, if the above is true -- Mangini had a good day afterall --
Edwards was going to leave anyway. Might as well get what you can. Mangini screws Belicheck, by sending his #1 WR to the Jets -- (if he lives up to his potential). Browns fans who hated Edwards - now find themselves rooting for him to have a great season. Edwards drops the ball in New York, he'll wish he was back in Cleveland. gotta go -- it's late |
This is from GangGreen, you can't see the link if not registered. Don't know the reliability of the source:
Edwards update: For all the fans lamenting the 16 drops in the first two games after the Edwards trade, take comfort in the fact that Edwards was the intended receiver on four of Mark Sanchez' five interceptions in Sunday's loss to the Bills. But then again, maybe not. If Edwards catches 55 passes, the conditional third-round pick in the trade improves to a second. Speaking of Edwards, neither he nor Kellen Winslow has won a game since last season, Nov. 17 against the Bills. |
