Its not just one or the other.

You think Haley had the bathroom doors Locked? Really?

Exactly. Haley and Pioli both have major issues that caused all this. Ironically, and not shockingly, it almost all could have been overcome if it wasn't for that bastard that is our QB.

Sensible is the same guy who thinks Herm Edwards is a good coach. Nobody in a position of power in the NFL thinks he is. We'll see if anyone in a position of power thinks Haley is a good coach. I'm guessing he'll get another head coaching job. In fact, the guys on Pro Football Weekly didn't think Haley would be unemployed long. Thought he'd immediately get a head coaching job. We shall see.

The ONLY person here that agrees with him is Denise. What does that tell you?

Here is the thing. I can see visible evidence that Haley was doing things to thumb his nose at Pioli. I can read about how Haley told reporters that he was thinking about resigning.

However, I can't see any direct evidence of Pioli leaking any information. Maybe it happened, but I can't see it happening.

Heck, Haley even took a shot at Crennel tonight when he talked about the Jets game. And, Crennel is the guy that didn't want to talk about being the interim head coach when Haley was still in place AND didn't trash Haley after he left.

If Pioli was 'leaking' information, don't you think he would have just come out and used those as reasons for letting Haley go? Pioli took the high road. The mature road. He even said that he, himself, needed to do a better job. He said it SIX times at the press conference.

Hale goes on audibles and takes shots at his former team and the local media. Yet, people on here think that Pioli has the ego problem.

Hey, Haley is a likeable guy. There are a ton of imature people that are, though.

... nope. I don't see a re-broadcast date.

FAX

Damn, Mr. FAX.

That's a bummer. Really wanted to see this.

Maybe they'll post it on ESPN.com or something.

Pioli should evaluate his own position and then pack his shit.

If you look at it from his perspective and Pioli is faultless at least you can put your head in the sand blame it all on Haley and book your SB trip for next year.

We on the other hand see Pioli as the bigger issue and feel depressed.

The guys he interacted with tonight were all guys in the business, in his mind, they are his peers.

I could be wrong.... but the whole image of Scott Controli just doesn't fit the way that Crennel has handled things so far.

Crennel is 65 years old. He's earned the right to basically say what the **** he wants. He's NOT going to get shitcanned this year. If he somehow makes this team look good and win a few he may keep his job. Crennel has the credibility to be himself. Haley didnt. Haley is/ways a young Coach that has to do what his boss said. I dont blame him for that. This was all new to him. Crennel? not so much.

And? The simple fact is that this team sucks. All through Haley's tenure, they acted one way towards the outside world. Now all of the sudden they start acting 180 degrees different. Are we to believe that Haley had THAT much power? If he did, then how did Pioli even manage to fire him?

Romeo took SEVERAL indirect shots at Haley. The comments about the players getting ready for the game instead of wondering about who was going to start. Changing the weight lifting schedule. Those were ALL shots at Haley, every single comment.

Of course he took the high road. He had the perfect opportunity to axe Haley and wipe the blood on somebody else's clothes. Are you really that naive?

A little misguided. I said he was better than he was given credit for. I don't consider him an elite coach, but he wasn't as bad as people on here said he was.

He had certain mannerisms that made people on here get annoyed by him.

Oddly, the defenders of Haley talk about lack of talent. Yet, Herm had even less talent. Herm took over an old team and completely tore it down and was rebuilding it.

Haley was handed a better QB than Herm had.... and a bunch of young ascending talent.

People gripe about the Chiefs not developing a young QB. Yet, Herm was moving that direction. He was trying to develop a young QB. Heck, had Herm still been here, the Chiefs might have actually drafted Sanchez.

When the Chiefs drafted Dorsey, Herm has said subsequently that he wanted to draft Matt Ryan, but that the Falcons had taken him.

Herm could be coaching right now if he wanted to. He doesn't. He likes his analyst job. Makes similar money for a lot less work.... and has incredible job security.

As far as Haley getting a head job.... I guess we will have to see.
