This makes sense. Good thing we didn't get a deal done with Bowe earlier because he would not be valuable in the development of a legit QBOTF, if Pioli's balls drop and he decides to acquire one this off-season.

Pioli has effectively pillaged Chiefs kingdom and is now working to burn it down on his way out of town.

A LEGIT franchise qb would do just fine with Baldwin, Breaston, DMC, Wylie, Moeaki, Charles, Draughn and Maneri as his weapons.

I honestly dont care if Bowe is the collateral damage in route to a franchise QB.

Third times a charm, **** this team

Moving Bowe would almost ensure that we get the top pick.

Haha, reminds me of Chiefs fans last year who were cheering so hard for this team to make the playoffs when it was clear we'd get a beating in the playoffs and would be much better served by getting a high 1st round pick to draft a top QB prospect.

Forgetting for a moment that if we lose Bowe, I'll cry and throw a baby at or out of something, Pioli's trading/drafting history gives me almost zero hope that he won't completely botch this (potential) deal.

Exactly the point I made about trading Gonzo when Pioli came on board. While Cassel is known garbage now, a HOF TE would have been one hell of an asset to this QB early in the process.

I did as well, but was advised that we needed to get rid of all the old malcontents or something.

Well at least we got an average nickle corner and punt returner for him. Not sure how we'd get by without one of those.

As much as I'd love to draft Geno Smith at 1 and Tavon Austin with Miami's first rounder, it's not as good as Geno Smith at 1 and keeping Bowe.

Why is Clark even letting him do this shit if we're looking at new GMs?

God... ****. Just ****ing ****. Rape. Shit. ****. Titties.

I can report this: Bowe wants out of KC very badly. Not exactly a revelation, but true.

The Bad Guy 10-17-2012 03:42 PM

Only real plus? Without Bowe, we are a 3 win team max.

Pasta Little Brioni 10-17-2012 03:42 PM

Yep, **** this team

Dude, have you seen this team? They don't care anymore.

They have 1-15 written all over them even with Bowe.

KCUnited 10-17-2012 03:43 PM

Probably been asked and answered, can Miami negotiate a deal with Bowe right now or do they have to wait until the end of the season as well?

Buckweath 10-17-2012 03:43 PM

For all those saying without Bowe our new top QB prospect would have no target to throw to. What exactly had the Washington Redskins as targets last year?? Please help me.

Yeah but they're a 3 win team with Bowe.

By the time he knows his shit, sure.

But it'll take him another season or so to get there and that's if he doesn't end up shell-shocked first.

Just because Luck and RGIII were turnkey QBs doesn't mean that we're going to get one in Smith, Barkley or whoever. There are far more guys like Eli Manning, Matt Ryan and Joe Flacco that take a couple years to get things ironed out than there are guys like RGIII.

Even Cam Newton had Steve Smith to chuck the ball downfield to last year.

Most quarterbacks, including the guys we now think of as elite, take a little time to get there. That time is significantly diminished by having people to throw to.
